What materials make up stainless steel?
Stainless steel is made of a variety of elements. The amount of nickel determines it's resistance to corrosion and also it's ability to withstands high tempretures. The chart below shows the minimum chemical copmpostion for the three main stainless steels sold at The Fastenr factory, being 304 grade (A2), 316 grade (A4) and 410 grade Bi-metal.
