Galvanised Bugle Batten Screws have a course tapping thread and a special long sharp fluted point to capture chips in timber. The Galvanised Batten Screw is used widely in the building trade as it is a heavy duty screw. It is often used in retaining walls and decking. The countersunk head has nibs which help to remove the timber particles when countersinking and the galvanised coating is suitable for most outdoor applications.
