Stainless Steel Tru Bolt or Wedge Anchor A4 (316) M8 x 50mm

The Thru bolt or Wdege Anchor M8 x 50mm is a standard size for the 68mm surfaces mounted hubs for masonry wall. It has approx 10mm of M8 Thread. You need a pre-drill 8mm into the concrete and hammer the anchor in. As you tighten the Surface Hub on it will pull and grab the concrete.

Mainly they are divided into two categories, Tensioned Systems and Non Tensioned Systems. Both of these systems can be installed in various different arrangements and easily able to fix to Timber and Masonry/Concrete walls. The Fastener factory stocks all the fixings and tools for 3.2mm and 4.0mm wire trellis systems.

Tensioned Wire System is ideal if you are looking to train heavy or dense creepers like Grapevine, Orange Trumpet Creeper, Creeping Fig, Passionfruit, Banksia Rose Etc. You can ofcourse get the lighter vines climbing on these systems as well like Wisteria, Bambino Dwarf Bougainvillea, Star Jasmine Etc. They can be arranged in a Diamond or Square or any design you llike.

The Tensioned System is a quick and easy way of installing the wire on your Fence, Pergola, Deck or Verandah. The wire needs to be Hydraulically Swaged to the fittings with a 5 Tonne or 8 Tonne Hydraulic Swaging Tool. The main components of this system are The Stainless Steel Surface Mounted Hubs with a flat plate at the bottom. They comes in two lenghts 68mm and 122mm with an 8mm female thread at the bottom for the timber or Masonry fixing. 68mm one is mostly used for 3.2mm and 122mm for 4.0mm wire although they can be used for either wire size. The hubs screws into either Timber Double Threaded Screw M8 x 50mm or Wedge Anchor M8 x 50mm. The metal thread on the Stud Terminals with the wire swaged on them goes into the holes across the hub and are secured with a hex nut and a dome nut from the other side.

The Non Tensioned System is ideal for putting light weight vines and climbers. like Wisteria, Bambino Dwarf Bougainvillea, Star Jasmine Etc. Since this system doesnt have any tensioners so it makes it even easier to install as you do not need any crimping tool. Similar to the Tensioned System this can be arranged in a Diamond or Square or any design you like.

The Non Tensioned System includes the Hubs or Standoffs comes in two lengths 42mm and 100mm secured with a stainless steel self tapping screw 6g x 38mm for timber. It can be used on a concrete wall as well with a 8mm plug. You need to unscrew the grub screw on the hub and run the wire through the holes, pull it as tight as you can and tighten the grub screw on. Black wire ends are used to secure the wire ends and protects against frayed ends.
