Tek Screws

A tek screw has a drill point and the tip of the screw giving the ability to drill its own hole. Using the correct tek screw for your application will eliminate the need for pre-drilling. The Fastener Factory carries a wide range of tek screws for Steel and Timber. When installing tek screws into heavy steel over 4mm The Fastener Fcatory carries Series 500 tek screws which drill up to 12mm thick steel. The Fastener Factory also has a wide range of Timber tek screws with there self drilling point fasten quickly into wood. It is often recommended to predrill harder woods to avoid splitting.
